Following the departure of Jamie Yates and his assistant Marc Newsham from the bench of Sheffield FC, the Club has announced the new manager who is Vill Powell, while Louis Axcell will be his assistant manager.
The 45-year-old Powell with a UEFA A License Holder degree (2016), as well as two FA Full Youth Awards (2016) and a UEFA B coaching award (2012), has a big CV at Harrogate Town (Coach, 2015-17), Rotherham United (Academy Coach 2014-16), Bradford (Park Avenue) (Assistant Manager), FA Coach Mentor for the Football Association (2015-20) and manager at Brighouse Town (2017-24).
The former striker Powell started at Sheffield Wednesday, then moved to HJK Helsinki and Derry City, has played in several Non League teams as of course in Sheffield FC when he played against Inter Milan for the 150th anniversary of the Club's founding. he has also competed with Stocksbridge Park Steels forming a fiery duo with Jamie Vardy!
